Having a job that’s easy to get to and close to a range of transport options has always been a high priority for employees. During the working week, we all want to spend less time in transit so there is more time in real life (IRL) with colleagues, and even more time after work with friends and family.
For employees who will soon be working at Parkline Place - whether they walk, run, skip, hop, ride a bike, ride a bus, or ride a train – there are plenty of easy ways to get to and from their new office!
Sydney’s new premium office building, designed by Foster + Partners is on Park Street, covering the city block between Pitt and Castlereagh Streets.
The official address and main entrance is 252 Pitt Street. This is where employees, clients and visitors enter an impressive triple-height lobby to head up to restaurants and bars on the mezzanine level, or up to the commercial tenant levels.
Parkline Place is fully integrated into Sydney’s newest transport hub – it sits directly on top of the new Sydney Metro Pitt Street Station.
From 2024, workers and visitors will be able to get to and from Parkline Place faster on the metro network – 2 mins from Martin Place, 2 mins from Central Station, and 4 mins from Barangaroo. And from a little further outside the CBD, its faster too - 7 mins from Victoria Cross in North Sydney and only 20 mins from Paramatta.
Parkline Place is also less than a five minute walk from every other mode of transport – 150m from Town Hall station; 250m from the light rail on George Street; and buses/taxi ranks/rideshare will stop right outside the building on Park Street.
And for those employees who walk, run or cycle to work, the enormous premium end-of-trip facilities will ensure they are boardroom-ready in no time! There are 350 lockers, 200 bike racks and a bike service station. Plus male, female and all-gender shower sand changing rooms, a towel service and grooming stations. There’s also a separate lift that goes up to the commercial floors, so workers don’t have to go around to the main entrance. Easy!
Parkline Place is currently under construction and will welcome new tenants’ employees in 2025.
